Investment opportunity in the feature production BLACK & BLUE – a sometimes poignant,
sometimes sad, sometimes humorous, but always entertaining story of the young Louis Armstrong
as he claws his way through the seamier side of New Orleans from childhood through adolescence
to young adulthood on his path to becoming a jazz superstar – an icon in the entertainment industry.
We experience the tumultuous relationship between the young Louis & his mother, the proverbial
prostitute with a heart of gold, as well as the variety of characters who weave a fascinating
patchwork quilt of mentors, exploiters, adversaries, & friends.
Director: With over 30 years in the entertainment business, OLEY SASSONE is a successful producer, writer & director of movies, TV series, commercials & music videos. He has worked with artists as Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Bonnie Raitt, Gloria Estefan, & Celine Dion. Oley developed, co-wrote, & executive produced the Disney movie, Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken, & has directed over 30 hours of episodic television. He has written & directed several independent movies, including: Cradle of Lies (Lifetime Channel), & produced Full Throttle starring Christopher Lloyd, The Family That Preys Together (Lionsgate), Night of the Demons, & The Moritician.
Equity Investment for a dual return of:
1) 110% in 1st recoupment position and
